Hi - I'm Toni Harman

Founder of Microbiome Courses,

Creator of Breast Milk Scientific

My Story

When I was pregnant 13 years ago, I wanted to exclusively breastfeed.

In the event, after an emergency C-section, with no dedicated one-to-one support to help me establish breastfeeding, I really struggled.

I ended up "topping up" with infant formula.

I wish that I had known then what I know now.

I wish I had known then about the critical importance of exclusive breastfeeding to establish a baby's gut microbiome.

I wish I had known then that about what is needed for optimal immune training.

I wish I had known then that by NOT exclusively breastfeeding, this would have impacted my child's lifelong health.

The above photo was taken just after my C-section. Copyright Toni Harman 2021.

Why did I create Breast Milk Scientific?

I believe it is duty of EVERY HEALTH PROFESSIONAL who supports parents during pregnancy, birth and early infancy to understand the science of breast milk - so they can fully support parents with informed choice about how they feed their baby.

We feel so passionate about this, that my partner Alex and I travelled thousands of miles to interview some of the world's top lactation scientists. We spent our own money doing this. We receive NO outside funding.

We care so passionately that this information needs to be accessible by all, that we are making this event FREE to access.

See you inside.

Toni
